Since the Pre came out everyone has been speculating on when the SDK would officially be released. Even when the SDK was leaked, people were still speculating the official announcement. Part of that may have been that once the official announcement came we would also get an idea of when Palm would start letting independent developers release their apps.

Yesterday, Palm officially released the Mojo SDK for developers. This package is complete with a webOS developers guide, a User Interface Guidelines, and a hello world application. Also, along with the release of the SDK palm has launched a new subdomain for developers complete with help articles, documentation, forum, and blog.
